Bonni is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) and Certification in Gerontology from the University of Northern Iowa, a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Iowa, and a Master’s Degree in Holistic Health Studies (MAHS) from St. Catherine University.
With over 25 years of experience, Bonni has worked with and counseled individuals, families, and groups in several diverse settings. She takes a holistic, client-centered approach to emotional health and wellness that encompasses mind, body and spirit. She has a special interest in working with trauma and mindfulness practices and is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprogramming (EMDR), and Lifespan Integration Therapies.
Haifa holds a Master’s degree from the School of Professional Psychology and is currently a clinical trainee specializing in Clinical Counseling Psychology. She has experience providing therapeutic support to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges including eating disorders, anxiety, major depressive disorder (MDD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and adjustment-related difficulties.
Haifa is particularly passionate about working with clients from immigrant and BIPOC communities, supporting those navigating identity, cultural adjustment, and systemic challenges that may impact emotional well-being. Her clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, with specialized training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among other modalities.
Haifa strives to create a warm, collaborative, and client-centered environment where individuals feel empowered to explore their goals and values. Her therapeutic style integrates empathy, curiosity, humor, and respectful challenges to foster growth, insight, and resilience.
Muna is a dedicated therapist with a Master of Science in Co-occurring Disorders Counseling from Metropolitan State University. She is passionate about providing compassionate care to individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges, helping them make meaningful progress toward healing and personal growth.
Muna provides individual therapy under clinical supervision, conducts comprehensive assessments, and develops personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her diverse experiences have equipped her to work effectively with a wide range of individuals, including immigrants, Muslims, and people from various cultural backgrounds. Muna is deeply committed to cultural sensitivity in her work, striving to create an inclusive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported on their path to healing and growth.
Outside of her professional life, Muna enjoys traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, reading, and learning new skills. These personal interests help her stay inspired and bring energy to her work as a therapist.
Janette completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Iowa and brings over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Throughout her career, she has developed specialized expertise in helping individuals reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety to achieve a greater sense of wellness in mind, body, and spirit.
Janette uses a trauma-informed approach to help clients work through unresolved issues from the past, while also supporting them in building healthier relationships—with themselves, their partners, children, and others. She is particularly skilled in guiding clients through significant life transitions and helping those who feel uncertain about the direction of their lives find clarity and confidence.
Janette also integrates her knowledge of nutrition to support emotional wellness and teaches effective strategies for managing stress in healthy, productive ways.
